Capo Iazzo is a masseria open to schools, associations and groups of families and friends for educational activities. ur aim is to introduce children and adults to the reality of a farm, show where and how our animals live, and their importance in protecting biodiversity and conserving our land With the path dedicated to milk, we will introduce you to our cows and the process that leads us to obtain the famous Mozzarella di Gioia del Colle (a product now recognised as PDO); with the path dedicated to wheat, we will take you from the fields of wheat cultivated organically, and with ancient grains, to the table; thanks to our forest dedicated to educational activities, we will show you the downy oaks, hawthorn and other plants typical of our Murgia, harsh and hard, but full of surprises, such as the small wild orchids.
Above all, we will love to talk to you about and introduce you to the Murgesi horses, with educational projects dedicated to them.
